The sports presenter earned a near perfect score
It's finally happened. The moment we were all waiting for: the first 10/10 has been awarded on Strictly Come Dancing – and it was as sweet as we'd hoped.
There's been a lot of Strictly drama over the past couple of days. From Will Young's departure and Greg Rutherford's wrist injury, to Brendan Coyle's hospital trip.
However, Ore brought all the attention back to the ballroom with a stunning jive earning him the first 10 of the series.
Dancing to Bruno Mars' Runaway Baby with partner Joanne Clifton, Ore was the last celeb to dance on tonight's episode but he brought. the. house. down.
Earning a standing ovation, Tess Daley noted: "I have not seen a reaction like this in a long time in this studio."
Darcey Bussell was the first judge to share her praise saying: "How you understand each genre that is throw at you that's what flabberghasting me.
"You have set the standard so high".
You could also predict this might be the night a celebrity gets a 10 from the judges when they started comparing him to previous winner Jay McGuiness.
Len said: "Well it was show stopping jaw dropping, eye popping jive."
"Move over Jay. You've turned up."
Bruno was equally impressed, saying: "Ladies and gentleman a star is born. You have a runaway kick of a jive as good as any that we've ever seen"
"You're forming the holy trinity of jive now with Jill Jay and Ore", he added.
Actor Danny Mac also earned an incredible 36 this evening, with a strong score of 9 from each of the judges. But Craig Revel Horwood noted that as it stands, Ore is the one to beat.
Even Craig was blown away by the standard, saying: "The game has finally changed darling. You are the one to beat in this competition. I hope Danny Mac is watching that darling because he's got a big load of competition."
But Bruno didn't just get one 10, he got three. Len, Darcey and Bruno all gave the couple full marks, with just Craig giving him a 9 (Honestly Craig), totaling at an astounding 39/40.
Let's just remind ourselves it's only week 4. We've a long way to go and we're already seeing scores like this. It's getting exciting.
The presenter was clearly overwhelmed by all the praise and high scores and broke down in tears over the result, with Claudia Winkleman passing him the tissues.
Choking back tears Ore said: "This is the dance I've loved the most and Jo absolutely packed it full just because I know she wanted me to remember it".
Awwww. Bless.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow (October 16) on BBC One at 7:15pm.
