Text Santa's 2015 appeal raised a whopping £11 million for charity.
The fifth annual event was the most successful yet, beating the previous year by 75%. Primark contributed £1 million as part of its scheme to donate £1.50 for every Christmas jumper sold, while the government generated £2 million.
The money will go towards three charities: Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-a-Wish UK and Save the Children.
"Text Santa was even bigger and better in 2015 with an amazing result of £11m helping the three Text Santa charities," presenter Phillip Schofield said. "I was thrilled to be part of it again and popping up on lots of ITV programmes. It's a great achievement."
Alesha Dixon added: "Thank you so much to everyone who donated money for Text Santa.
"We have raised a record-breaking amount of money that will help the lives of so many people. We couldn't do it without you - thank you."
Text Santa 2015 saw The X Factor chip in with £200,000 and Bruce Forsyth appearing in a Downton Abbey sketch, among many more highlights.
