Harry Judd wins Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2015

Congratulations to Harry Judd, who has been crowned the new Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Champion.



The McFly drummer and his professional dancing partner Joanne Clifton won the special festive edition of the BBC One show this evening (December 20).

Harry saw off competition from the likes of Abbey Clancey, Lisa Snowden, Alison Hammond, Cassidy Little and Tom Chambers.

Watched on by presenting duo Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the celebrities strutted their stuff in the ballroom, and after an impressive performance, Harry was named the winner.

Accepting the Silver Star trophy, Harry said: "It's amazing, thank you so much everyone. I had the most amazing time and I just want to dedicate this to Joanne who has been an incredible teacher and an incredible dancer. Thank you and Happy Christmas!"

There was also a special Christmas message from Sir Bruce Forsyth, plus a seasonal performance from Cee Lo Green.

Meanwhile, Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani were recently crowned the winners of the 2015 series despite disappointing with their showdance.

Aliona previously won with new Christmas champion Harry Judd back in 2011.
