The title of 'Best Scripted Comedy' went to the BBC's The Thick Of It, beating out The Inbetweeners and Miranda. However, Inbetweeners writers Iain Morris and Damon Beesley picked up 'Best Comedy Writing'.
US drama Mad Men won in the 'International' category.
EastEnders was named 'Best Soap And Continuing Drama', and the BBC's The Street won in the category of 'Best Drama Series'.
