The limited edition chicken chow mein has been named 'Chicken Jahmene' and is available in nationwide stores until Sunday (November 18).

For each Chicken Jahmene sold, 23p will be donated to the charity Women's Aid.

A spokeswoman from Asda's ready meal team stated: "We're so proud of Jahmene and all the incredible performances he does week in, week out on The X Factor, so we really want to get behind him and offer our support.

"Chicken Chow Mein is a weekend favourite, and we hope that by renaming it after him, we'll be able to raise lots of money for Women's Aid."

Chicken Jahmene costs £2.25 per pack.

Douglas, 21, recently replaced Ella Henderson as the bookies' favourite after a string of well-received performances from the judges.
