Jerry Hall voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing'

Jerry Hall has become the second celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing.



The model and her professional partner Anton Du Beke left the competition after falling into the bottom two with cricketer Michael Vaughan and Natalie Lowe.

The couples performed their routines for a second time in the dance-off, with Hall and Du Beke doing the quickstep to Simon & Garfunkel's 'Mrs Robinson'. Vaughan and Lowe performed the cha cha cha to Donna Summer's 'Hot Stuff'.

Delivering his verdict, judge Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Vaughan, saying: "For me, this couple improved slightly, and were a little bit better, which was encouraging. The couple I would like to save is Michael and Natalie."

Darcey Bussell also saved Vaughan, saying: "Both couples have improved so much over the last few weeks. It is so hard to take it on this one performance, because nerves got hold of both of them. I have to save Michael and Natalie."

Bruno Tonioli selected Jerry Hall, stating: "Well I actually thought that both couples were very, very nervous tonight. I thought they actually didn't improve. There were mistakes, lack of rhythm, timing, and by a whisker I'm going to save Jerry and Anton."

Finally, Len Goodman had the deciding vote, picking Vaughan to be saved. He said: "To be honest, neither couple impressed me. The pressure got to both of them. Jerry's routine was full of mistakes. Michael's routine went in and out of time.

"This is a really difficult, difficult decision for me. This is so close, but I'm going to save Michael and Natalie."

Jerry Hall later said of her Strictly journey: "I've had a lot of fun, it's been great. I've loved hanging out with Anton, and dancing with Anton. It's been lovely."

Sunday's results show also featured Dionne Warwick performing '(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me', while 2008 champion Tom Chambers appeared with the cast of Top Hat.

Strictly Come Dancing continues with a Halloween theme on Saturday, October 27 at 6.30pm.
