Amy Childs signs up for Channel 5 reality show...

Amy Childs has signed up for her own Channel 5 reality show.



The former Only Way Is Essex star will be seen in a new fly-on-the-wall show called It's All About Amy, which will follow the beautician as she prepares to open her own salon.

The show will also feature appearances from Childs's brother Billy and their parents.

Channel 5's director of programmes Jeff Ford said in a statement: "We're delighted to be following Amy as she embarks on the next exciting stage of her life.

"She's one of the most talked-about women in Britain and we're sure our viewers will take the bubbly bombshell to their hearts."

Childs appeared on the channel's first series of Celebrity Big Brother in August and September of this year, finishing in fourth place.

The 21-year-old added: "I am ecstatic to have my own reality show. It will be great because people will be able to see the real me. I am loving filming it and I can't wait for everyone to see it."

It's All About Amy - a co-production between Zig Zag and CP Entertainment - will debut in December 2011 with an eight-episode run.
