Gary Barlow will be great on 'X Factor', says Lucie Jones

Lucie Jones has revealed that she expects Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos to be a success as judges on The X Factor.



The former contestant on the talent series told STV that whichever category gets Barlow as a mentor is the most likely to win the whole show.

"I think it will be great, Gary Barlow is a perfect choice," she said. "I would have loved to have been on a show with Gary Barlow, just to have been around him and get some of his buzz and his talent and to get his input.

"If you get him as a mentor, you are laughing, I think."

Jones added that she thinks Contostavlos will be a "brilliant" replacement for Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue when the series begins on August 20.

"Tulisa is from a completely different background and she is very successful and they have worked so hard.

"I think she is going to be brilliant, I think she is going to be very straight-talking, but she is lovely so she will be a good judge."
