"Had you not have fallen Brian, this would be a very different outcome"Brian McFadden has become the ninth celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice.
After finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard, the former Westlife member and his partner Alex Murphy competed in the semi-final skate-off against Saara Alto and her partner Hamish Gaman — which they eventually lost after taking a tumble in quite spectacular fashion.
It means the Dancing on Ice 2019 finalists have been confirmed as Saara Alto, Wes Nelson and James Jordan.
Speaking before his vote, ice panel judge Jason Gardiner made it clear that the fall was the reason for Brian leaving the competition over Saara.
"Had you not have fallen Brian, this would be a very different outcome," Jason said.
A clearly emotional Brian didn't have a lot to say after being unanimously voted out of the competition.
"It's been amazing, we've had such a great time," he said.
He follows Melody Thornton, Jane Danson, Ryan Sidebottom, Gemma Collins, Saira Khan, Didi Conn, Richard Blackwood and Mark Little out of the competition.
Brian's exit follows earlier tears from his professional skating partner, Alex Murphy.
They seemed to be tears of joy so it's really tough luck that they couldn't stay on their feet and skate through to the final.
But, we shall see Wes, the perfect-scoring James and Saara in the final next week!
Dancing on Ice: The Final airs next Sunday (March 10) on ITV.
