Say Yes To The Dress is on the hunt for Coventry brides-to-be

The hit TV show is coming to Coventry next year and they want to speak to as many brides as possible



Coventry brides-to-be could have the chance to find their dream wedding dress on TV.

Hit reality TV show Say Yes To The Dress will be in the city in January searching for participants who could have the outfit for their special day picked out by the man who designed Princess Diana’s famous wedding dress.

Producers will be scouring the UK National Midland Wedding Show at the Ricoh Arena in the new year to find women on the hunt for the perfect dress.

Wayne Littlewood, show organiser of the UK National Midland Wedding Show, is urging as many people as possible to take part.

He said: “Every year we hear hundreds of brides longing for their own personal stylist, and now our show is able to offer them that opportunity for the first time.

“All our visitors need to do is turn up and tell the producers their story.”

If they appear on the show the brides-to-be will have the chance to have their wedding dress picked out for them by fashion designer David Emanuel, who designed Princess Diana’s wedding dress when she married Prince Charles in 1981.

Say Yes To The Dress has been a hit show in the US since it aired in 2007, following the emotional experience of women picking out, trying on and being fitted for their dream dress, with many overcoming body insecurities, overwhelming opinions of friends and families and aiming to stick to a budget.

Earlier this year, the show came to the UK and after a successful first series, the producers are on the lookout for the next set of brides to take part in series two.

The programme is set at the Confetti and Lace bridal boutique in Essex where the store’s owner and designer Christine Dando, her consultants and David search for dresses for brides.

The show’s producers will be at the wedding show at the Ricoh on January 21 and 22, 2017 to search for participants.
