Dancing On Ice stars Gary Lucy and Kieron Richardson have been given jewelled thongs ahead of Sunday's final.
Soap actor Lucy claimed that he had been informed about the special underwear, but said that he was not looking forward to the prospect of performing while wearing the garment.
"They told me about this jewelled thong. I'm not being funny, but what is that all about. You'll see in our faces if it's actually true. When I do the big spiral leg up, I'll be wincing," he told DS. "There's something very wrong about [a] jewelled thong."
Richardson joked: "If I win, I'll whip my pants off and you can all see it."
Fellow finalist Hayley Tamaddon added: "Do the girls get them as well. I want a jewelled bra with H.T written on it... If I win, I won't be whipping my bra off!"
A source confirmed to DS: "The wardrobe department make special jockstraps for the boys. They can take them away with them at the end of the show."
The Dancing On Ice final airs on Sunday at 7.45pm on ITV1.
