I remember the Coventry fortnight being the last week in July and the first week in August before it changed to the last two weeks in July. As 'staff' one of the perks was that we could take our holidays when we wanted and were discouraged from taking them during the holiday fortnight.

I remember Father Walsh well, he used to come to school frequently and amuse us with his jokes. Do you know the year this photo was taken Dutchman? I can't remember the entrance of the church looking like that. My wedding photos in 1964 show 5 steps at the front of the church and no railings.
