It closed as a Fire station on the 7th January 1976, when the last 2 fire engines left. One of my brothers was on YOP, and repainted it during 1976. He found some Cov' Fire brigade paperwork which he gave to me and i still have. It then, for a short while, became an indoor market. https://i.imgur.co...

Yeah, that site on Old Church Road is again a car sales place. The last one didn't last long. Mind you, you didn't have to pay there, several cars got driven out of the gates! lol.

I did security at that building when it was being built. After a triple nine call, Warwickshire Police attended. So, i'd say it's in Bedworth and not Coventry!
